Antiqueing, oxidising, bronzing and metal coloring is all the same thing and these terms are used to describe the look of aged metals.  There are many different shades and techniques, creating different effects.  The shade of color produced by various bronzing processes are to some extent influenced by the composition of the alloy, hence some variation in shade may be experienced between one article and another from different mixing of metals.  Chemical bronzing may be applied to a wide range of metals and alloys and mainly used for decorative purposes.
