Lusinco Electroplating Antique Copper

Antique effects are typically used to give an aged appearance to decorative hardware, bath fixtures, jewelery and other decorative accessories. Through chemical conversion, a copper plated item can be oxidized.  By varying time, concentration and methods, multiple shades can be achieved from light to the blackest of black.  Additional effects can be created by tumbling, rubbing or reliefing the surface to highlight lettering or create contrast on designs.
